What We Do

What is included in your lawn mowing service?

Every lawn mowing visit includes weed whacking at no extra charge. We mow, edge along walkways and driveways, string trim around trees, fence lines, and garden beds, and clean up after the visit. You get a complete-looking yard every time — not just a mow.

Do you offer weekly or bi-weekly lawn mowing schedules?

Yes — we offer weekly, bi-weekly (every two weeks), and one-time visits. We set up a recurring schedule that fits your yard. Once it's set, you don't have to think about it — we just show up and get it done on schedule every time.

How often should I mow my lawn in the Colorado mountains?

In the Evergreen and Conifer area, lawns typically grow well from late April through early October. During peak growing season (May–July), weekly mowing keeps things looking sharp. Bi-weekly works for slower-growing periods or lower-maintenance yards. We'll recommend what makes sense for your specific property when we give you a quote.

Do you haul away pine needles after raking?

Yes — haul-away is available for a small additional fee based on volume. We'll bag all the pine needles and remove them from your property. Just mention it when you reach out for a quote and we'll factor it into the price.

Do you do weed control in Evergreen CO?

We offer mechanical weed removal — weed whacking (string trimming) of fence lines, garden bed borders, around trees, and any overgrown areas. We don't apply chemical herbicides or pesticides. For mechanical trimming and string trimming throughout your property, we've got you covered.

What services do you NOT offer?

We don't do irrigation repair, large tree removal, stump grinding, or hardscape/concrete work. We focus on what we're good at — mowing, weed whacking, and pine needle cleanup — and we do those things really well. If you need something outside our scope, we'll tell you upfront.

Fire Mitigation & Defensible Space

Why should I remove pine needles from my Colorado property?

Dry pine needles are one of the most serious fire hazards on Colorado mountain properties. They accumulate quickly under pine trees and near decks, and they're highly flammable during Colorado's dry summers and fall. Removing them reduces your wildfire risk significantly, helps create defensible space around your home, and keeps your property looking clean. Most Evergreen and Conifer homeowners do pine needle cleanup at least once or twice per season.

Does pine needle removal help with wildfire risk in Evergreen CO?

Yes — pine needle removal is a key component of fire mitigation and creating defensible space on Colorado mountain properties. Jefferson County and Clear Creek County both recommend removing pine needle buildup around homes, especially within the first 30 feet of structures. We help homeowners in Evergreen, Conifer, and Idaho Springs reduce this risk with thorough, full-property cleanup.

How often should I rake pine needles in Colorado?

For most mountain properties in the Evergreen and Conifer area, a seasonal cleanup in spring and fall covers most of the buildup. Properties with heavy tree coverage may benefit from 3–4 cleanups per year. We can set up a recurring schedule that fits your property — or you can call us for a one-time cleanup anytime the buildup gets bad.
